Unlocking the public sector.

Government is one of the world's largest and most influential markets, yet it remains one of its most difficult to navigate. More than 90,000 state and local governments deliver essential public services across the United States, while the federal government invests trillions of dollars each year through contracts, grants, infrastructure, and emerging technologies. As agencies increasingly adopt AI to modernize operations and streamline procurement, the public-sector landscape is evolving faster than ever. For companies seeking to work with government, the opportunity has never been greater—or the landscape more complex.

Airys was founded out of Stanford University's TomKat Center for Sustainable Energy to bridge the gap between government needs and innovative solutions, built by people who've lived that path from both sides. Co-founder Charles spent years in government contracting at firms like ICF, where work comes down to calling cities, counties, states, and federal agencies one by one to track down information deals depend on. Vendors who couldn't find the door; agencies who couldn't find the vendors—we understand both.

Today, Airys is a public-sector intelligence and access firm. We help companies—from early-stage founders searching for a winnable wedge to established contractors reactivating dormant business—navigate procurement, secure the registrations that make them eligible, and build strategies to grow in the government market. Whichever end you're on, the bottleneck is the same: access. That's what we make fast.

Working out of the Stanford Graduate School of Business, our team brings together the university's sharpest minds to answer one question: how do today's AI-native companies actually break into government? That work is already in the field, with partners including the Urban Land Institute, the Thornburg Foundation, and the Environmental Policy Innovation Center, and support from the TomKat Center for Sustainable Energy, Stanford Professionals in Real Estate, the Stanford GSB, and Stanford's HIT and Ecopreneurship programs.
